P.U.C Programs
A program for people with unique characteristics.
lOCATIONS OFFERED: BARRIE & ST. CATHARINES (COMING SOON)
This league is intended for anyone looking for physical activity who would feel uncomfortable playing in one of the many leagues already available to members of either the ballhockey.com Barrie location or the Ballhockey.com Niagara location. The P.U.C. leagues assist physical and cognitively disabled youth and adults to be physically active and provide excitement and enjoyment to all participants. The P.U.C. league is available to anyone, regardless of age or how minimal or severe the disability. Access to the clubhouse and rinks is available to people with assistive devices including wheelchairs.
Ballhockey.com believes that all players should feel they are a valuable member of their team. To ensure this, players will be divided into teams based on their capabilities to ensure that each rink and/or team is of equal capability. We have two rinks to ensure each player receives adequate floor time and attention during the game.
The league runs for 12 sessions, at a cost of $84.07 +HST. Players are required to wear a helmet, shin pads, hockey gloves, and a hockey stick. If full hockey shin pad are uncomfortable for your player, they may also wear soccer shin pads.
